Question... I bought a 06 manual G35 2 months before I deployed so I didn't have too much time to enjoy it. Also I was wondering how do I know if my car is 6MT or revup?? I would like to start buying the parts to mod it but I don't want to spend the money on something I can't use. Thanks for your help

Sorry guys I'm new to all this so bash on me all you want if this is a 'stupid' question.

Soo.. My dad handed down an '05 coupe to me of which he had a procharger installed. Can you have the procharger + mrev2? Where does the mrev2 sit, and what exactly does it do. (in terms for a noobie please)

no, you wouldnt need an adapter.

the MREV2 can be purchased from a lot of our sponsors on the site or directly through Motordyne.

If you keep your eye out in the classifieds you'll see one pop up from time to time.

Procharger, I am from Lowell. And I heard DSG Norwood are pretty good. I am going to give it a shot. Check those out.

I own an '05 G35x (5at). I was about to buy the MREV2 with my 5/16 plenum spacer, but wasn't sure if I will gain or lose hp. I know about the ECU advantage with a REVUP, but is there a way to change the ECU? ...or will the MREV2 atleast give me some hp gains???

I've been to motordyne's site, but didn't come across a dyno on a non-REVUP motor. Anyone with good suggestions?

Below is a comparison of Stock Vs Spacer Vs MREV2 Vs Spacer with MREV2. All of this testing was performed on a 2004 G35 Sedan with the non-revup engine.

PS: I took my car to Performance Factory and they guys over there seemed pretty knowledgeable. They told me that I’m losing HP and torque because of my CAI. They said that our engines work better with the stock intake. He advised me to put my stock intake back and get a K&N drop-in filter. Would you guys agree with that? Please, give me your thoughts. Thank you!
I talked with a guy at FI about putting in an exhaust. We got to talking and he also said don't waste your money on an intake, just put a drop in K&N filters. Sitting on my desk right in front of me as I type this. He said stock is very good as is.
