Can i reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery for an hour or so ?

Yeah, bump on the 08 x. Will these work on the gen 2 '07/'08 x sedan models?

No. The spacers are only for the engines with a single intake.

Dual intake engines are not compatible.

Thanks,

After researching a little bit, I think our engines were designed optimally in that aspect.

The spacer works but skip the CAI. CAI's don't do much on this engine.

My most recent engine mods were the 5/16 spacer and MREV2. And I must say I was a bit of a skeptic but these are one of the best mods I did. Car pulls very nicely.

These go well w/ my K&N filter, Ztube, and Motordyne Exhaust. What I need next is the ART pipes and Tune.

Figured I'd add my $.02. I just installed the MREV2 and 5/16" copper iso spacer this past weekend. The install was easy, the instructions were a breeze to follow, and the gains are definitely noticeable. Seriously, starting at ~3500rpm the engine starts screaming, in a good way. Not only that, but the note of the car changed as well.

I'm completely happy with this mod. The combo is a must for all 6MT owners.

What is the recommended place to buy these two from?

I have a Z-tube, JWT popcharger, and Magnaflow exhaust but that's it so far and I'd like to do a couple more things like the MREV2 and spacer to "complete the circle".

I didn't really feel any performance differences one way or the other when I took the stock airbox out. It's really more of an audible thing for most people I'm pretty sure. It definitely sounds a lot more aggressive.

I do get just under 2mpg better gas mileage now (exhaust upgrade included in that) than I did with the stock setup. Been using an app called Road Trip to track each fill up for the past 3 years or so and my MPG has been remarkably consistent in my G.

Interesting mods, Mrev2 and 5/16th spacer...which comes out to about $600-700 for max of 13-14 hp gains...is it worth it? and how does a lightweight pulley play into this.
Thank you!

Just installed mrev2 and 5/16 copper spacer. Install went very smooth, but my intake has a bit of a "wheezing" sound now. It kinda sounds like a BOV. You can hear it when rev'ing quickly or when driving (it's a high pitch whistling when accellerating). I have no SES light and my test drive rip was great - more power pulling right to redline.

I don't have any air leaks anywhere. All hoses and everything are sealed up. The noise is distinctly coming from the airbox - which was never touched during the install.

I installed my z-tube a month earlier and didn't have this "wheezing" issue... why is it happenning after my mrev2/spacer install?

The only thing I can think of is maybe a ECU resent and idle re-learn so it can adjust to it's new found air flow? Or I just try reinstalling the intake again
