Having read about all the happy members who have done the mod, I now wouldn't hesitate to do it myself.
I did discuss it with my dealer tho. who agreed with the mod and would have assisted with the install.

Bunnone, I've had G's now for nearly 3 yrs. It's been great, but it's time for a change. This will prolly happen early next year.
Not a big change mind you,-- the M I'm thinking of is very similar to the G-Sedan that started it all for me (and many of us). It'll have a few more toys on it and more power (V-8) and I'm looking forward to it very much.
I've got fond memories of both G's and have learned so much from everyone while sharing them with all of you.
I'm hoping the M lives up to the Infiniti name as the G's have.
I'm not going anywhere, BTW, so I can still share your G's with you, as well as my M with you.
Sorry to go so far off topic (not setting a good example am I) but bunnone's has been around for a long time, and deserves an explanation.

With the 6 speed it's easy. Just put it in gear and have someone apply the brakes.
With the automatic it's a little more tricky, unless you have an impact wrench available.
