Time to install: 5minutes MAX if it's your 1st time. I installed my friend's < 60sec.
Overall value: 4 out of 5
Review: Purely for looks... and a simple mod. The clear corners just snap out. Pull gently on the corner lights from the tire side and "pop" ... it's out. Simply unplug the old one, and install the new one...
I love the way it look... like any mod, up to personal preference.

just to name a few... personally i think this is a must on the G... however, they are also easy to steal so keep that in mind...

Don't you need to swap out the bulb - or is it orange already?

 

original amber corners come with clear bulbs. new clearcorners come with amber bulbs. you can switch them however you want.

 

only legal is amber lights up though, correct?

Or is it even illegal to have clear corner, independant of the color of the bulb?

I can't seem to find the law on this topic anywhere.... at least not NY state law.

....not really legal with any bulb type, as the reflector on them needs to be amber, not white.

 

btw reflectors being amber is a federal law, turn signals are state to state

 

Hear too many stories of how often these get stolen. That's why I'm not getting it, even thought I alway does clear side marker mod on all my cars but not on my G if its so easy to steal.

I had always thought this mod was dumb. I got my clear
corners a couple of weeks ago. Man, they make the car
look SOOOO much better. I paid less than $50 to have them
delivered to my door. Took about 5 min to install. They look
so good on my Twilight blue sedan! Just get them!

Ducatiguy did a great ANTI-THEFT DIY for the clear corners so they are much harder to steal. Basically you would have to break the clear corner to steal it rendering it useless.

 

Are clear corners legal in Florida ???

 

Clear corners seem to look the best on darker colored cars. Fro the light G35s, I think I prefer the stock amber markers.

 

Smoked doesn't do much for me.
