Just finished up installation of mine!!!! 3/8"
Piece of cake!!
I went ahead and painted my plenum while I had it off.
What do you think?
Just need to get her dynoed again now.

Well the sound is improving after a soft ECU reset and a few miles of breakin. Definitley more throaty from 3k on up, sounds great!

Ok, we know it looks good, sounds goood but do your cars feel a bit peppier?
VFRguy, what kind of paint did you use for your plenum?

LOL who gives a rats *** about the sound. The question is... how does the car feel? No one bought the spacer because the car had a deeper growl after installation.

Still haven't had a chance to really open her up since the install, was stuck in ****ty bay area traffic yesterday, and I had to get the bike dyno'd today so I probably won't get the G out again till tomorrow. She did feel slightly more responsive yesterday after the ECU reset, but I only got her up to ~4k on the dial =\

What did you use to paint your plenum? And is it the stock metal plenum or an aftermarket one?

I also want to paint it red.

I find it ridiculous that you had a new mod on for two days and you never revved past 4k.

Will install mine tomorrow. And beleive me, I will rev the crap out of it in the first 15 minutes. Stay tuned.

somebody please tell us if there were noticable gains?!?!?!?! lol im very anxious over here.... we all know it growls by now but does the car go faster than it did before?

Yes guys very noticable gains at WOT. You won't feel it at cruising speed.

ya i been sifting through these posts HOPING to read a 'review' other than sound and growl. I wanna know if the car feels any bit faster/smoother!!!! Cmon im all the way in VA and I finally receive mine sometime today but I cant wait to install test myself!! I wanna see some reviews!!!
