The shipping time is my only question now.. How many weeks did you have to wait until they arrived ?

So many questions :P

1. Yes, it reuses existing holes. You just need to screw it in. REALLY easy. Easier than when I installed my Crawford plenum. Even easier than when I installed my Grounding Gear (less connection points). Absolutely no drilling. Note that the instructions come in Japanese, but if you look at the diagrams, it's pretty obvious what to do.

2. There are specific models for OEM hood and carbon fiber hoods, so order the right one.

3. Rather than keep sending out the pricing (since the group buy was over 3 months ago), just contact BulletProofAutomotive and see if they will have another group buy (seems like there's a bunch of interest here). I'll just say that I saved about 15% (due to free shipping).

4. Since this item wasn't in stock (and I doubt it is now), it took about 3 months to get. Yes, 3 months. About the same amount of time I waited for my G35c to arrive after ordering that :P

btw, i ordered mine from Drift Factory:

http://www.driftfactory.com/product_...oducts_id=1054

Got my order number, emailed them saying that I'm aware that this is a special order item, and thanked them for making it available to the enthusiasts in the U.S. 30 minutes later I got this email:

Got your order, thank you very much. Yes, we always like to make our customers aware of special orders so that they are not disappointed as we are known for our very fast shipping times when it comes to our in stock products. Thank you for being a great customer and I will let you know as soon as your item is ready to ship.
now, this sort of stuff just makes me tingly all over.

I installed the ztube almost immediately after I took delivery of the car (I actually bought the ztube before I even got the car). I installed the Crawford plenum as part of that initial group buy. Overall, I'm quite pleased with it, and it sounds great. I wish I had done some baseline dyno, but given the cost of the parts vs the cost of a dyno, I couldn't justify it.

something small, what you would expect - like $15 for 3-day air...

i have that too. the engine note changed a little but - there is a bit more... howl?... i can't even describe it. the sound difference can be compared to this: playing drums in large empty room; and then playing drums in larger empty room. it sound deeper and more echo-y. very nice sound, i must say.

Mods: thanks for removing the eBay spam, I appreciate it. (and don't mind my posts getting removed as well, that was the whole point)

I ordered them about a day or two after codeflux, and just last week got an email saying they were still about 3-4 weeks out.
