Top Secret Hood Dampers installed
Yeah, I got an email the other day saying they should be on the next shipment, end of January....emphasis on "should"
Kind of annoying, but I knew going in that they would take a while.

so, i'm still waiting. at least they haven't forgotten about me.
I have been following up on our bonnet dampers for a few weeks now. I have been told that they are to arrive any day now and I am just waiting on our delivery. Your item will be shipped once it reaches our warehouse. Unfortunately I don’t have a solid ETA quite yet but I will notify you once your item ships.

Whats with them being called Hood Dampers? There's not a damper anywhere to be seen. Is this another tragic japanese -> english translation?
The rest of the world calls them hood struts, because struts support things (such as a hood), and dampers...well...they dampen.
Anyway, I'd love some hood struts....I was actually shocked the first time I opened the hood on my new car and found I had to prop it up with a rod. Some luxury car!

Just got an email from driftfactory.com's customer service, lori ahn:
very professional - i'm glad they keep me in the loop. should i tell them that i'll wait, or should i have them refund my moneys?... 
We have contacted Top Secret USA today and they have again claimed that their shipment containing the Top Secret Dampers for the G35 has not arrived yet and will take another two months. We understand that these consistent delays must be very frustrating for our customers so we are offering refunds to anyone who is interested. Although they are on the way and will be here eventually we will just list them for sale as in stock when they arrive.

I got the same email, so same dilemma....
My thoughts: I already spent the money, and I would just put it back in my account were I to get the money back. I'm not hurting for it, and I really do want the hood dampers, as damn frustrating as it is for it to be taking so long.
Anyways, I think I will keep waiting. Unless someone knows of a quicker source for something similar.
