dm2 motorsports oil cooler
Danny and I have decided to fab some oil coolers up. We have basically a 3core 4ft by 4ft oil/air cooler (alum). We are planning to cut it up and make individual oil coolers. We realized this needed to be done when we noticed the oil cooler that was purchase online (earls knock off)was made of steel. The only thing is that there needs to be some real research done here. I need dimensions and A N sizes that you need. I will discuss more in depth as the replies come in.
I have a couple interested so far,

I wanna say -10 an fittings. I'd say you'd want to make ones that are a minimum core size of 6"x10". How thick is the core?
I don't remember how the stock winshield wiper reservoir fits cuz I threw it away along time ago, but for greddy people there is a perfect place on the passenger side where you can make a bracket that is connected to the crash bar brace.
The driver side works too, but the lines would have to be pretty long...
Hey! Where do you get your -an fittings from? is it local?

I was thinking, I just bought the front impact bumper on ebay and noticed there are 4 radiator supports also on ebay. Give me your opinon on this. Would it be possible to set up a whole front end as a mock up? I was thinking about getting the radiator support to paint mine anyways. This would be perfect for mocking up a location for an oilcooler. let me know

Welp theres been a change of plans. Basically if I were to cut the original intercooler I have the end tank would need to be rewelded every row (huge mess). So what I have decided to do is look around for oil coolers and with the correct size in mind, purchase them and fab end tanks onto them. We (ernest and myself) have pooled up and purchased 20ft of 10an ss line and about 15 10an aluminum weld in bungs. If any of you would like to do this as well pitch in or purchase parts and we can get the ball rolling. The parts listed below are things on ebay. Also listed below is quad cams post about eliminating the oil warmer. let me know
