I ended up finding a Pirelli @ Tire Hut in FLL for $40 with 1/2 tread left but if someone comes up with a Potenza I'm still interested.

I have an original that came with my coupe with about 1 month of driving on it. BUT, it's been sitting in the elements for 3 years, so it might not be structurally safe (?).

Can you check the manu date on the tire, it will be in a rectangle on the sidewall something like (1904). Let me know when it was manufactured and I'll consider it. When you say it has been "sitting in the elements" has it been outside or garaged?

Outside. Actually, I just looked at it and forgot it's a 225/40/19 (front), but I could not find that mfr. date, due to the darkness. 'Guess it wouldn't do you any good anyway, since it's the wrong size, huh? Sorry; I really thought it was a 245, but it's been so long since I threw it out of site/mind.
