Talking Tian's Build Thread

Alright, this is what's being done. Open for opinions and suggestions

2005 Coupe 6mt.
• Nismo front - Klumz
• Nismo skirts - Strafe
• Chargespeed rear - Strafe

Not a popular setup. Only know one other with this set up and the car is gone so might be the current only. Hopefully it stays that way.

• Custom Ferrari Grilgio Silverstone paint - Only G35 with this color
• Nismo ducts will be satin black
• Roof will be gloss black
• Rear diffuser will be satin black
• Grill will be satin black
• Mirror bases will be gloss black
• 06/07 Headlights custom painted with satin black and Ferrari GS paint. LEDs on the clearance strip is a possibility
• Rear stabilizer bar will be sanded and painted metallic red to go with the Silver/red theme.
• Removing the pin stripes off the sides finally. Even though I kinda liked it
• Tow hook delete
• Driver key hole delete

• 19'' BBS LMs with TA stripe. Just like my old RH C4s
• HKS Ti will be repolished
• Tail lights have vinyl previously and I'll keep them pending on how it flows. If I don't like it then a simple peel. *** Peeled and looks amazing now!***
• Headlights sanded and buffed

I think thats sums up everything that is being done exterior wise. I got other goodies but I think I have it summed up on the visual stuff. Any inputs on the satin? That's what I've been bouncing back and forth on. Gloss or satin? Anything thing else I should paint differently. BTW... I'm keeping the surfboard spoiler. I like it

I'll post pics of my car for the first time ever on driver. It's been in the shop for two weeks. I get it back next Friday hopefully.
This time I'll take pics of the progress

Little past and a little tease:

Prior:
SSR GT3's prior to drop

Racing Hart C4s

How it look lastly when I left it

Tease:

nice list, look forward to the pics. And hell yes on satin, except on the roof you should do the roof gloss black because of all the glossy glass surrounding it...
rear valence or diffuser definitely satin though, look at how silky smooth my rear valence looks in satin black, almost edible like some kind of candy or somethin, lol

and here's the roof issue, gloss black would be much better to match the rest of the glass..I'm actually respraying a coat of glossy clear on my roof soon

How's the consistency on the clear coat? I know you can wax it but I'm worried on the appearance and luster it gives

I'm sure it will be. I'll post in his thread when he does

Ok. So Adon has a good point as far as the glass clashing with the satin on the roof. So I think I'll go with gloss roof and mirror bases and satin grill, front air ducts, rear valencs and HL housing. Yay or nay?
