Sfl g club look now!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like that idea, about the stickers but just something to think about. Most places will not do orders of 1 and if they do its very expensive. Like the multi color club stickers were very expensive to have made, just because of the labor of making them mutli color.
keep the ideas flowing, I do like the idea of team leaders for different counties, I think that could be very beneficial to help setting up different things.
I am all for more meets and more activities, I just do not have the time in the day to plan like I used to. So any help would be very beneficial.
As of right now I see a use for these positions:
Event Coordinator
WBP leader
Ft. Lauderdale leader
Miami leader

My 4 cent.. I don't see a problem paying a lil fee, but here is the problem when money is involved people want something in return. So one has to make it beneficial to for a person to pay for something. For example no one wants to give their money to stand around in a parking lot.. (don't get me wrong i enjoyed myself the other day). Also, we could have a banner or something to let folks know who we are. We could also raise money for example with a dunk tank or something.. (just an idea). Also, all events need to be planned a month in advance. This way everyone can participate.
I also agree with Sean. Except on the dunk booth lol
Chris, the dunk tank .. would be fun hehehe.
The sticker idea is nice, but to solve that.. we can just post a pic of our cars.. and the location.. so this way if u see a car.. all u have to do is just out the thread and see if u see the car in there and then u will know whom u saw

If Danny needs any help with Ft.Lauderdale, I'm open to help. (Although, I should pay dues, lol) I'm centered in the middle of Broward County. Every city(within B.County) is basically 15-20 minutes away from me. The sad part is that I'm leaving for UCF in the fall though
Sean we do have a big banner which I have brought to most of the big events. I will find a pic of it somewhere. I will look into having some single color vinyls made, with different numbers, I am sure the wfc guy has a plotter that his makes them himself one at a time.
There is a lot of people here that are new, and do not know of some of the things that we have done in the past for members, custom license plate frames, mod days, club sponsored bbq's, etc...

Along with the ideas that have been thrown out there, why would we not discuss the idea of becoming a chapter of the Florida G Club? Not sure why we would need chapters. We currently have like 5 guys north of the Palm Beach Line and about as many south of the Broward Line. If we do anything, we should do it as an entire club, not as chapters. A chapter is needed due to the fact that not many are going to travel to Tampa, lets say for an outting. I am typically the northmost attendant of any meets we are going to host. I have been the president of a large auto club before. Our club was Animated Toys back in the Local Mini's days. We did alot of Day Long events at CB Smith Park back then, but our main showing was at car shows. A President, VP and Treasurer is usually enough counsel support to make sure that a decision maker is always available. I think Eric and myself saw the reaction when Danny was not able to make the meet on Friday and we need to spread the responsibility and time requirement across a few more bodies. With chapter representatives, your creating alot of chiefs with too few indians. Our whole club needs to unify under one management model with responsible representatives to organize the clubs ideas, not set up activities for the club. Each member should play an active role in coming up with ideas and presenting them for organization. It is not the governments responsibility to entertain us all and that burden should not be placed on them. If your going to act as a by-stander, then perhaps that is what you should be.
As far as Dues, it should be mandatory. If we do something more than a towers meet, I think it would also be in line to have an admission fee so to speak. Say we do a BBQ at a park with a cruise. There should be a up front fee. Once a year, the club can host a bash or something, but the club cannot afford to do anything without funds. I would suggest we do something more to enforce this, such as moving the most of our website activity into the members section. The "free" section should be much more limited to encourage people to join. the free section should have out list of events past and present and some basic information and discussion, but not much more. Once the club becomes more structured with more members, more of the general chit chat can move outside the member area.
I could go on forever. Maybe if anyone is interested, we should set up a meet just to discuss this topic in depth. I live in Northern Palm Beach, but I would be willing to host something here at my house for this purpose. I am very excited at the thought of putting something more structured down on paper and perhaps seeing some more envolvement here in the South Fla area!
Just my 2 cents.

Very good input Chris, I think that could be a great idea. I do 110% agree there is no need for chapters. At one point there were many of us who were part of the Florida G Club, but as the scene grew rapidly down here we branched off and did our own thing. The very first iocc meet we hosted had about 110 G/z cars.
I would prefer to stay as our own club, personally, Danny. But members have to recognize that there are more important things than stickers. My old club used to show as a club alot. We traveled to shows in Lakeland regularly. More importantly we hosted events frequently. We would invite other clubs and could have over 100 cars easily. Our meetings were weekly at the Char Hut there in Davie on University. Members were pumped about the club and gatherings. And all of this was before the internet, go figure. This can easily gain greater interest and most importantly participation. Danny has provided the foundation, now the members have to create the walls. Keep the ideas coming!
And what if we considered adding the Z following to our member base? We do share most of our parts, why not our interest?

Now if south fl had their own website you could them implement the restriction of access to the website.
If you want to enforce something you can hit them were it hurts "in their pocket".
For example if a member says he is coming to an event and but never shows. The member is given a warning.. after so many times.. He is either kicked out of the club or something else. In order for him to join again he has to pay reinstatement fee, admin fee and dues upfront (1 year).
