and my comment for the advertising were in the process of getting business cards made up for our club which IMO is better then leaving paper on a car. looks more professional :-) thats my .2 cents... you guys should look into that once the club pops :-)

and about the big meet .. once we get both clubs rockin hard , myself,ricky,and Ashley, woady etc of the BOD will get together with you guys down south and put together ONE BIG **** G MEET somewhere in the middle and have a ALL DAY event ... we have been talking about this for a little while now but ill keep you posted more into it

wait a minute! What I was getting at is this. I grew up like this if a man say's he is gonna do something then do it.. a man is only good as his word. I can speak for myself, if I say I'm gonna do something I'm gonna do it.. If a person tells u that they are gonna do something and never do what they say then what good are they.. I know things come up in life. I just wanted to clear up what i meant when I said what I did.

About the distance I don't mind the drive. I like seeing how fast I can get there (just kidding I got enough speeding tickets already).

hey how is everyone doing ... well i know most of you dont know me , but i read this thread from first post to last ...
i comment and post allot on g35 sedan section
im from the down south miami

and usually meet up with people in our daily thursday night meet at london square
edub, reaper, hialeah, xxxxxx,

i have a few opinions and thoughts and comments ...


First start off with the basics ..
(need a strong base/frame)

1- structure of club
as in leading member or member(S)
person charge of dues and money
person charge of meeting and location
person cahrge of contacting member and attandence

2- dues and fees -- (without this the club wont be able to do anything)
- membership fees ,
- gathering for a major event fee

3- benefits from paying fees

(as i come to this website and usually look on sfl thread, not to put anyone down or anything but i dont see any major benefits.)
usually when you join a club you get benefits..
1- new friends - networking in personal life (jobs)
2- new or used parts and or cheaper prices on parts
3- a helping hand / friend -
( greengolbin -danny , i always read on the thread that he is always helping someone out we need more people like that. a club is to bring ppl to gether, almost like a family, help each other out if more people see you get more help from being in a club they would want to join.. )
4- sticker sponors / t shirt
5- bbq and such


locations of meet - we need to find a mid point

were people can meet for a monthly giant G meet..
somewhere for down south miami people and up north broward people can meet eye to eye..

to make this club thrive even more.. to have weekly meets... but also in a mid point were everyone can come..

also our own location (for now until club grows and becomes know) only for Gs.. more cars and or groups can come when we get bigger but i think it would make us grow and become closer,

since on the topic of the meets. we should have events at these weekly meets..
cause truthfuly just standing around and talking every weeks get a lil boring

- for weekly meet - apoint some1 to b the grill master. lol
bring a lil grill ,
other members bring other items..
and it will be a better weekly meet then just sitting around and talking
and more people will come and be more intrested ...

or another idea.

at the weekly meet if theres a game going on .. some one can bring a tv or such
idk im just throwing ideas out..

or free photo shoot by a experience photographer

or poker day. its not hard to bring a fold dwn table and those fold dwn chairs either.

or some type of activity that will make people want to come ..


so -
weekly meets (week day) - for locals
monthly major tower meets - for everyone
G35 sfl club only meets (every 2nd weekend of the month ) - for sfl memebers or g35driver members or invited by sfl member




also to make a club strive you need members -

the idea of the business card or flyers is the best idea..

I go to FIU and see a lot load of g35 that i never see at the meets..
some modded some not some driven by girls and so forth
branching out is the way to grow .. so business card / flyers needs to happen


and i think to top it off..

we need to be more oragnized and more solid structure..

our own SFL G35 website ...

yea we come on here. but there is so much going on .
we need something just for us.. and someone that can run it ..
a hourly or daily or even weekly updater.
and of course it will open to public but paid members will have special piroty on the websites.

Hey guys I like were this is going, I think we should find out how much the stickers will be and maybe add that to the fee so that way when people join they get something in return like a sticker with their personalized # so they don t feel like they aren't getting anything in return.my 2 cents ...

 

yeah make it sparkle aqua lol white stickers are too plain lol imo
