How did a car get smashed up so bad in an Auto X?

Edit: just say a video of the layout, thats more like a road course lol...

Because it was not your regular parking lot auto cross it was on the pbir road course . The cones were on the track to keep speeds down but nontheless a fast course.

Top speed I hit was 112 mph down the straight .

A few other cars got small hits , s2k hit the back bumper on the wall and a miata ripped his bumper off taking some cones down .

^yep

This is really not an event people should take their DD to unless they are skilled imo.

It was probably fun, but I would pass on this course personally.

A SCCA Solo based event is better suited for new people and with use of DD since the courses speed dont usually go too much over top 40mph and its still fun.

I agree , Ive run in several scca events and Dlb events . you will allways have mishaps unfortunately when people get too comfortable with the track or look down instead of looking ahead and you will eat a corner . The straight is the only place you get out of second gear .

It's not a race so you go as fast as your comfortable with .

That was my buddy Rudy with the miata. He said he was hitting 90 on the front straight. Man I wish I could have gone.
