2003 G35 with 256,000 miles. engine and transmission still runs like new - no issues.
Doesn't really use any oil either. What is add it did use about a 1 qt every 5,000 when using Mobile 1 fully sync oil. I switched to blend about 30,000 miles ago and no longer use any oil - weird.
Still a daily driver - use the 2012 G37 on the weekends only.

just bought my very first G35. 2005 sedan AT with 165k miles. Let's see how much more I can add on.
One owner with service records; only the sparkplug has been replaced and other major parts are original including transmission(knocks on wood). No clicking or slippage or hissing, oil didn't have any deposits after idling for 10 minutes + a test drive, no leakage that I could see.
I just moved to CA and needed a car that would last me just 3 years as I'm planning on moving overseas then. So I said hell, since I'm going to lose all the money anyway if I were to lease a cheap car, I should instead go for that dream car I always wanted to work on

congrats on the purchase. Given the relative ease, I'd suggest draining and filling all of the fluids; Trans, diff, brake, etc

2005 G35 Sedan 6MT - I just hit 86K - looking to add some catback from Motordyne after some bolt on's and regular maintenance.
-Switching back to regular oil from synthetic, as this thing burns it like no ones business.
-Normal creaking, but regular maintenance and 91 octane keep this thing running like a young car.
VERY HAPPY!
