What did you do to the G today?

Haha!
Also bought this Seibon hood years ago to let some heat out and because it wasn't too aggressive.
Rocked it for less than a week and hung it up on the wall in my garage.
I quickly HATED the carbon-fiber contrast on the car as it was too fast and furious looking for me.
I've been meaning to get it painted to match, but you see how that's going...

I could do it, but I really, really do not want to... Book is 5.1 hours for left and right mounts.
$516 here locally at Infiniti, still waiting for NISSAN to reply.
As far as the hood goes, I have unwrapped headers and as we know the VQ puts out some heats as it is, thus my purchase.
My G is a little spoiled b**** and doesn't see rain, snow or even 2k a year... lol!
I was diagnosed with a brain tumor a while ago (violin playing) and been dealing with that s***, but things are getting better and I'm getting back into it.
I want to get new seats as I HATE the stock ones. Tight is the a** and sloppy on the back, plus you sit high like a trucker, but I can't stomach a grand+ on a pair plus the brackets and rails. Not to mention my passenger recline is inop.
I'm looking at some JEGS GS-1's. Good reviews. According to JEGS:
"The 2009 Dodge Challenger Drag Pak had two driver's side Dodge Viper seats. Midway through the 2010 model year, Mopar switched to JEGS GS-1 High Back Sport Seat".

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Other drawback is the engine gets dusty/dirty very quickly. I pulled the inserts out of the hood scoops on the GTO to vent heat here in South Texas but the damn motor got dirty so quickly I put them back in. Coolant temp didn't change with or without them so I guess the experiment was a major fail lolol.

The engine temperature isn't going to change but, allowing the heat to escape is a good idea. Yes, I agree the engine bay will get dirty quicker but, since I'm buying a second vehicle and I won't be driving my G as much it may not be all that bad. Also, during the cooler months the vents might allow cooler air to enter the intake. JoeB lets see more pics of your G, nice coupe by the way.

Attempted to install my brembos but my wife had me doing housework (gutters and lawn) but I did get a chance to replace the knock sensor harness that's been showing on my scanner as a ghost code. Difficult? No. Time consuming? Yes.
I tried the shortcut (hole in the timing cover) but all that did was rip the wire out of the sensor so the long way was needed. FYI for anyone that attempts this, the injectors do not need to be removed. Just loosen the fuel rails and lift it up slightly to access the bolts needed to life to the intake runners (I think that's what they are called). Car runs great now.

It was a toss up between them, BDE and Vibra-Technics. BDE won in my book on looks. Lol!
Probably will rattle my fillings loose, but they look cool...
