If you mean compared to the OEM shifter and how it looks sort of odd.... it really and truly needs a shifter boot to hide the awkward shifter stem. But.... it does look better than the bulky OEM shifter (at least to me)

G35x AWD monster truck no more

Got the Eibach springs on myself and had a few issues with noises (one of the front springs wasn't seated correctly... oops ) but got everything sorted out and the car is looking nice. These wheels came off my friends maxima (got maybe the best deal on work wheels in history) so the offset is just a tad bit too high but the studs are too short to really allow for any kind of spacer, so I'm okay with it. Overall despite the setbacks this car truly looks and feels transformed. I am astounded at how much more capable the car is in the handling department. This car is truly an experience to drive especially with my exhaust and the OEM paddles I installed (which are surprisingly good). This car has made me a lifelong Nissan/Infiniti fan. When I was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago it totally shook my world but luckily I have had this car. There is nothing more therapeutic than this car echoing (literally) through the beautiful hilly back roads of the St.Louis Metro area. Sorry to get carried away but I'm very happy with my progress thus far. Here's some pics.

ferrari you have a solution for the wheels available. You can buy spacers that come with extended lugs, even a 10mm would help push those wheels out far enough that they would look a lot better.

Yeah, the 5AT design is just awful looking. I don't understand why car companies have to have a tall *** shift ****-- the newer infinitis are the worst offenders of all - the Qs shifter is like 8 inches tall! The old Ms had a decent lower profile shifter--hell a Prius has a 3" tall shifter; why is the Q shifter so damn tall???

Installed new, painted mirrors and rubber weatherstripping. Also new door stops to keep the doors open--what a huge difference!!

Door off...

New door stopper--awesome!

New weaherstripping around mirrors.

I kind of like the self closing door feature. This car is ahead of its time
What kind of wheels are those?

LOL! The doors also don't slam as hard with the new stops, or whatever they are called! I am so impressed with how good the doors feel now.

Wheels are Volk SF Winnings, of course

Next up is to replace the rusted out tunnel brace on the bottom of the car. I can't stand when I can see that rusty mess under the car!

That might actually be it until next spring...it's been a productive year for the G for sure. She is really coming along nicely!
