What did you do to the G today?

If you mean 5AT vs 6MT....... well that's another discussion.
If you mean compared to the OEM shifter and how it looks sort of odd.... it really and truly needs a shifter boot to hide the awkward shifter stem. But.... it does look better than the bulky OEM shifter (at least to me)

G35x AWD monster truck no more
Got the Eibach springs on myself and had a few issues with noises (one of the front springs wasn't seated correctly... oops ) but got everything sorted out and the car is looking nice. These wheels came off my friends maxima (got maybe the best deal on work wheels in history) so the offset is just a tad bit too high but the studs are too short to really allow for any kind of spacer, so I'm okay with it. Overall despite the setbacks this car truly looks and feels transformed. I am astounded at how much more capable the car is in the handling department. This car is truly an experience to drive especially with my exhaust and the OEM paddles I installed (which are surprisingly good). This car has made me a lifelong Nissan/Infiniti fan. When I was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago it totally shook my world but luckily I have had this car. There is nothing more therapeutic than this car echoing (literally) through the beautiful hilly back roads of the St.Louis Metro area. Sorry to get carried away but I'm very happy with my progress thus far. Here's some pics.
