Irwindale is the only place I know of where we MT's have to use the hand brake just so our cars won't gradually move out of the staging line. But we don't really uses it to launch
But... I don't think the tiny hill affects any AT owner since they have to brake torque anyway. I had forgotten about it not affecting AT's.
