since they deal with mostly lowered cars, i was wondering if they provide any of the following services? change oil, change tires, alignments, balance tires, etc? if so has anyone taken it to them for any of the following? If the price is decent i wouldn't mind taking my car there... i'm kind of scared to take my car to these places who don't specialize in lowered cars with body kits, etc.

 

they can change oil, tires, blance, but no alignments. as for oil u are limited to what they have. i say bring ur own oil and filter. they just charge for labor if u do it that way. hope this helps

 

cool, where do you usually go to get all this done? I know you baby your car too, since you have it lowered and with a kit, i know you're cautious about where you take your car...

 

i usually buy my oil then take it to carboy to get it done. they just charge for labor 10 or 15 bucks, can't remember. for alighnments and such i take it to firestone. that is if u can get it up on the ramp. its lifetime warranty hehehe. . if they can't only other place i take it is absolute suspension way up north. they have the ramps to do ur alignment. hope this helps holla!

 

nextstage thanks for your input... about how much clearance do you have on your car with the drop and kit on? I am wondering if i will be able to make it up those ramps that you are talking about. Does firestone and discount tire have the same ramps?

Also, when you take your car to the dealer for those 15k, 25k, 50k, 75k service maintenance or for whatever other reasons, do they have any problems getting your car on the lifts? Or do you avoid going to those all together?

 

discount def don't have the ramps, they can get it up though. they usually find a way. something making u ride of some lil bocks just to get a notch. firestone, nah just regular ramps. at ur own risk, but if they see that it can't make it up they will turn it away. absolute suspension is one of the very few with nice ramps ment for lowered cars.

that dealer service blah, do it urself or take it to somone else that can do it. that is if u have a warranty for the car then that is another case. as for ramps same as discount, they'll find a way, but if not they too can turn u away. hope this helps holla
