Sorry, I was at Hallett all day saturday then went straight to the lake. Just now getting back on the forums.

It only takes a few minutes to flash the ECU then we were on the dyno for probably about an hour and a half. We tried to wait as long as we could between runs because the temps were getting too high. We probably could have used another 3-4 fans blowing on the car.

 

Did you get like a physical item of the osiris or they just reflashed it for you?
Im suprised they dont have more fans if thats an obvious issue..

It was just the Osiris Standard flash service. They flash the ECU with a license then that allows you to get tuned by any UpRev tuner. You can buy the Osiris to do yourself but it costs alot more.

Yeah I dunno about the fan issue. The dyno shop they use is a Honda shop and the dyno is really set up for front wheel drive. There is a big built in fan at the front of the dyno along with another large fan, but they only had like one smaller box fan for the back and another carpet dryer like fan.

Yeah it's just a license for the Osiris software. Once its on the ECU though its on there for good so you can take it to any UpRev dealer any they can work with it, or I think you can even upgrade if you want and get the Osiris software to do it yourself.

It's a pretty new shop and doesn't have a big place right now. The shop he uses the dyno at is just down the street so it's not too bad. they just need to go buy a bigger fan. lol

He does some pretty good work though. Their shop car is a 350z with GTM TT on it that is really nice, then there was also a Nismo 350 in there that they did another GTM TT on that was amazing.

 

So since you only get the reflash, do you get more than 1 map, like valet map and such?

But overall i'll probally go to them when im ready for my tune

 

Yeah you can have up to 5 maps that you can swap through using the cruise controls. Thr way he set it up for mine is the 1st map is the tuned map, the second is a valet map that limits the revs to 3k and speed to 30mph. Then the 3rd is the stock map.

 

oh you only have 3 maps? did having more cost extra money?

No you can have up to 5 I just needed 3. He didn't tune me for any specific situations or anything. I think having multiple maps is more for FI type applications or people who have more than just basic bolt ons since there is only so much you can change.

It works by holding down the set button and pressing cancel to select the maps. You press cancel once for map one, twice for map 2, three times for map 3 etc.

I order Tein coilovers. They seem to be what I was looking for. A couple of buddies I know have them. They should come wednesday. Ill put them on thursday. I should get the same ride from what I was told.

I would love to see that shop car with the tt in it from the dyno shop yall are talking about. I wonder what the rwhp is??
