Plan for a meet again in houston all nissans

just a simple meet not a rally(not dogin it though) just for people to come out, "chill," maybe eat, and a cruise. just an idea.
as far as location no idea
time no idea
date no idea
i guess its more of a planning thread before the meet thread

Why don't you join the July 2nd meet at Starbucks Town Center? Alot of thought and planning has been done for it. Don't you want to actually drive your G35?

There will be a Houston G Ride meet soon.. As soon as the stickers are made...

Houston G Rides:

There are No membership fees/dues we just want a more ORGANIZED G group. Many attempts perviously have failed trying to unite and organized HOUSTON G's... So a few of us figured that establishing HOUSTON G RIDE, an organization, along with stickers to distinguish ourselves and add some basis or foundation to grow with would be a great start.

As far as, having meets.... I'll try to help in any way I can =)

The July 2nd meet (rally) was great =) had an awesome time. =)

Again, I'll help in any way I can. =)

We need to set up another route. You guys who live up north need to map out your favorite driving roads. I will do some more exploring around BBSP (Brazos Bend State Park). I think County Road 42 was a hit, what did you think of it?

This would be a great idea! I have been to this 1/8 mile drag strip a couple of times....about 45 minutes west on I-10.....one of the cool parts is you can get right next to the track.....about 10 feet from the cars as they launch! $10 per person to enter and only an additional $5 to race .......

Lone Star Raceway Park is located 7 miles west of Sealy on the South side of Interstate 10. Exit # 713 (Beckendorff Rd)

http://www.lonestarraceway.com

there is another 1/8 mile drag strip over on the NE side of town.....Texas Motor Speedway....they also have an oval track....usually cars drifting while they run drags.....but their website isnt working just now

both of these tracks would be lots of fun for a bunch of G's I know

The one up north, NE Texas Motor Speedway, I've been there... they have an oval track and a 1/8 mile drag strip.. its pretty nice... also alot of space in the lot area for photoshoots...

I believe its the same price to run here as Lonestar Race Park. I'll check my friends go to the Texas Motor Speedway often and get back with you all about it.

I loved it. It had a totally different character and presented some different challenges.

Don't worry we'll make sure the "granny" driver's gonna be there! Hahahah!!!

Looks like we all had a good time....I suggest everyone keep in touch with me and i'll PM a preliminary date on the next meeting time....So it looks like we got some planning ahead of us
