I hope you didnt talk to that rico suave guy.. hes only nice to girls.. F*ck him!
I'm not sure who the Rico guy is, but I was working with Isaac. To his benefit, he was cool with me, but their service manager is saying that the headers are the problem. They also said that my oil cooler is suspect. I informed them that it's a TRANSMISSION oil cooler, and they didn't say anything in response. It's amazing that the techs couldn't even differentiate a transmission vs oil cooler.

Their argument is that 5ATs cannot possibly consume oil. I still have to fill out my BBB paperwork. My other mods include a polished plenum and Y pipe. I just don't see how these mods caused oil consumption.

You guys are lucky to have several Infiniti Dealers to choose from in CA.
Here in "rain soaked" OR we have ONE Dealer for the entire state.

Fortunately, I have always had good experiences with Beaverton Infinity,
Service Dept., since I bought my first Infinity in 1993.

The sales dept. is nothing to brag about, but I don't have to rely on them
several times a year.

Correction. You own an Infiniti, not an Infinity.

Are any of the techs at Cerritos Infiniti Master Technicians?

We have techs here that can pretty much rebuild a car from ground up.

Either way, .. something is wrong, and it should be fixed!

LOLs i think the guy's name IS Rico, Hans Rico to be exact.

neways to update my re-routed service at Riverside, the service advisor was really nice as expected at any dealership.
the technician came out and did a test drive w/me. he let me take my time to hear wat noise i was talking about and we came to a conclusion that it was my air pressure sensor that was making the noise, not my "wheel bearings" that cerritos stated. took my volks off, put my stocks back on, and voila! no more noise!

i'll be taking my car to riverside from now on. all i want is a fair treatment that some dealership cannot handle.

That, right there, could be worth my 40 mile trip to Riverside dealer....

I just don't get why the dealers are being such a d!ck...

Yes, it's consuming oil. Everyone outside of the dealership that I've talked to, cannot fathom how headers can cause oil consumption. BBB says that Infiniti wants to send a regional rep to inspect my car.

the lead tech at Riverside Infiniti, supposedly has 20 years of experience at Nissan, scratched the F out of the back on my engine bay, not just scratches....DENTS. I had my engine replaced under oil consumption, and though it would be fun slam the new engine. Ive used an engine puller to lower and remove engines...its not rocket science. The metal panels behind the engine block were so badly scratched the your general manager of the dealership couldnt say anything but well repaint it. Im not letting anyone from Riverside touch my car again, because I have to let a tech drive my car to whoever does paintwork for you.

DO NOT LET RIVERSIDE INFINITI REPLACE YOUR ENGINE.
