OP, I asked you for visual proof it didn't fit. You said your digital camera was broken/gone and that you would stop by the shop. That was the last time I heard from you. Feel free to stop by and show us the lip, if the fitment issues are not because of improper installation we will fix the situation.

You guys have to understand that these are aftermarket parts and that they will never fit 100% like OEM. Minor shaving or adjustments are almost always needed to make them fit "perfect". This is like purchasing an aftermarket body kit then complaining that you need to do prep work to make it fit.

ACTUALLY, after my last note to ya jim about my digi cam being out of commission, i sent you two more notes offering to drive down to your shop for a visual....i waited two days, and i didnt recieve any response.......i then tried to call your shop and was left on hold for 7 mins the first call and about the same the second call, give or take. you can see why i was frustrated.......this is the first real response you have taken , and considering i am swamped with work now i will take up your offer the next available day i have jim, if this is kool with you then i will schedule a day i can swing by your shop.......hopefully sooner than later.....

i'm just a ittle weary that after making the drive to your shop and reading your response that you'll tell me to kick rocks and go shave off the extra overhanging air vent flaps myself, which is what i was going to do at a reputable body shop anywayz......street image installed the lip the best they could considering the VERY tight parametters they were working with on the lip......i do hope we can resolve this matter jim in a way that both of us can walk away satisfied and content.

and as for seungs lip , i will not comment on as i dont know anything about the matter, but i will say that after checking out the pics you posted jim, i can certainly say that where his two air vents are on his oem bumper, you can clearly see that there is no extra piece of lip protruding into it, it's flush and propper.....thats all i want , a flush even fitting lip....

Not to judge your character, but this is why we are requesting proof. When you said your camera was out of commision and said you could swing by the shop, I assumed that meant you were going to swing by. You have to understand we get both legitimate and non-legitimate claims brought to us. It is our job to weed out those wanting something for nothing, and those who truely have an issue. Without visual proof we can not determine either.

We are very busy right now and our response time is slow at times. You met us, while Chuck, and we are not here to screw anyone.

 

OK, ok , an update ............ i decided to take care of this fitment situation as soon as possible, so i left work and took half the day off today so i could swing by showstoppers and let jim and/or chuck see for themselves the fitment issues with the seibon lip.........i mean after my peeps and a body shop took a look at the lip , they new that the problem originated with the seibon CF lip itself , then manifested to it's installation...................and to showstoppers credit, they were willing to take back the bunk lip and have seibon themselves look at it to see if they can replace it with a propper fitting one....!!..... i give showstoppers big props for keeping their word and doing what they can to get me what i paid for...!! but everything's still not fully settled yet, so now we wait til monday.....
