Angry Damn This Five-o!!

I was cruising gently on my way home from school today. Suddenly I saw this cop car(UCI Police) abruptly made an U-turn after he drove past me. He followed me for about 500 yards then he pulled me over. As "predictable" as it is, he gave me a ticket for tinting the front windows . Here comes the n00b question. How much is the fix-it ticket gonna cost me? Should I try to fight it off? Would it make a difference? What would happen if i repeatedly caught with tinted front windows?

THIS IS HOW DARK IT IS WITH THE WINDOWS UP! I have these tints for almost four years ( have this car since high school) and i never had problem with tint. it's like every 1 out 5 or 6 cars in this area have their front windows tinted.. and he just have to pick on kids like me

thanks for any input guy! sorry about the rant

all fixed tickets will cost you $10 to the clerk of court and when you get it signed off the police will charge you $15. So you are looking at $25 to get it written off....

you coming to the 714 meet tomorrow at super autobac?

if i were you i would fight the ticket just for the fact that your windows are BARELY tinted, i think you could get away with legal tint. because everything is visible.

There's a meet tomorrow?
Time?

You should just roll down your windows when driving next to the police.

it's not about if you had tint or no.

It's if cop can prove it or not.

how did he determine if you had a ting on the windshield?

UCI police are super bored and strict.
One time I parked there waiting to pick up my friend,
Ran to the restroom for a couple of minutes.
Came back and there was a ticket on my windshield.

LOL.... I go to UCI a lot, too... just for studying. LOL

Since my car has a AZ plate, cops don't really bother pulling me over. LOL

so he did not use any devices or anything else to determine the tint?

Did you admit or tell him that you have tint?
