I need help... maybe... I dunno.
Ok...
I gave in.
I installed a stillen box and z-tube.
I understand that the power gains were going to be minimal.
I bought and installed these items just so my beloved "Mika" could breathe a little easier.
The car is running fine, pretty damn smooth I must say, well smoother than she already was. However, when I turn the car off, the car seems to shake. Not the whole car, but the engine seems as if it has the pee chills.(You know, when you hold it and finally let it out, you kinda shake during or after you're done peeing?)
Does anyone else who has the tube and what ever kind of aftermartket filter, does your car do this? Or did I miss something as I was installing these components.
Before you guys ask.
Yes, the MAF sensor is connected.
The hose that's connected to the new tube is connected w/the clip that secures it.
Everything's bolted down nice and tight.
And the tube and air box aren't touching the A/C lines.

take it to Stillen and show them...
i have z-tube and k&n drop in and my car doesnt do that

Hey Wicked.
The shaking only happens momentarily as soon as I shut the car off.
I know all the components are solid and I bolted everything down nice and tight.
I'll take it to Stillen tomorrow and ask what's up with it.
