Go-Karting Event Whos Down?

Im planning one at then end of this year or by jan 5 to 20, 2010. Here is the info im providing, im also seeing if we want to rent out the track if we have enough people. If not we can use the deals they have.

About The Karts
Our karts are made by SODI: the number one indoor kart maker in the world. The karts are designed with hydraulic brakes, custom frames, adjustable seats and pedals, and all around bumper protection. All karts feature a 6.5hp Honda engine and have been hand crafted for Miramar Speed Circuit. Thanks to a special sealant on our asphalt track and the karts soft racing tires, the karts achieve very high cornering speeds. On our straightaway, they can reach speeds up to 40 mph. You must be at least 60 inches (5 feet) tall to drive these karts.

We can do it on a Tues or Thurs for the promo's or we can day on the weekend.
So depending on the day, figure 20 to 30 bucks. If we want a private session for an hour 1,500 to 1,700. Figure they run races every 6 min, we can get min 6 to 8 races before tim is up. If we get more than 16 people.. that'll be less than 100 bucks for the day and less than 15 dollars per race... trust me these races get tiring, no power steering.


SO im seeing everyones interest for this, even just for a meet on a thurs or tues this december or january. Lets get this done, we can even get cheap throphies from 99 cent store or walmart for fun. We can make this a yearly or twice a year meet. Hope to start something new instead of just the usual meets were we all just look at each others cars and wait for a raffle, lets do something different and fun

Rye pick a date damn it... lol... remember the so cal bbq that ahem no date was set and everyone was like, i can't make it, do it on this day etc.

 

okay... im going to make it in january.. itll be like our bi-weekly meets...but more fun

 

dunno if people will have money to go go-karting all the time...it get's expensive..I say make it one big meet, if the parking lot was big enough.

 

it holds up to 90 cars.... but ill pick a date.. full cost might be 20 to 25 bucks for one race.... im figuring less than 20 people...ill pick a date today
