I'm in the market for a 2004 G35 Coupe.. I went to the dealer the other day and tried to negotiate a deal. He was hard-pressed to go below MSRP, but I did not press him on it.

This was at South Bay Infiniti in Torrance. My question is, has anyone managed to get a deal under MSRP? How difficult would it be to get a 'deal.'

Anything else that might be helpful.

Riverside Infiniti has about 35 2004 G coupes sitting on their lot. I'm sure they are willing to negotiate with you below msrp to move inventory. Goodluck and welcome to the board.

i got mine from Nicole $35,000 for everything except Navigation and rear spoiler at South Bay Infiniti... but as mentioned above, try go to Riverside....

South Bay are a bunch of a-holes. Seriously, do a search for south bay or torrance infiniti of all posts(not just the past week). You will find nothing good said about them.

 

Go to South Coast Infiniti in Costa Mesa. They've got a bunch of G35's on their lot. Also, you can go to Edmunds.com and spec out the G. Then there's an option to email 4 different local dealers. They'll reply w/ a price. That should be able to help you a bit. Plus on edmunds, you'll be able to see what the dealer invoice is.

 

Just go see a fleet/internet manager and they will give you a bottom line price. Most of the time it will be something like 300-700 over invoice. Try that.

 

My friend just got a G35 6mt from Riverside Infiniti this past weekend and he paid 200 over the invoice. You don't want to know how much I paid for my G35, I went through vp of nissan and got it for cheap back in 03.

It is a huge difference in amount you can negotiate with dealer.

$200 over invoice for a 6mt coupe is groundbreaking for So Cal is it not?

That is a lot cheaper than I have heard of it going for!

 

Yeah....$200-$500 over invoice is a very fair deal anywhere. Remember, dealerships have a business to run and make some sort of profit. People are always saying they have dealer cash and get kick backs from the factory. For Infiniti, that maybe happens once a year and thats on a car that doesn't sell. So it make it easy on yourself and sales rep.

 

Call Mike Breedlove, the internet sales manager at Mission Viejo Infiniti. Tell him Rudy from Sound Advice refered you and that he would beat any one elses prices. He'll hook you up. Even if the one you want is on another lot, he'll pull a dealer trade and get it for you cheaper than that dealer would give it to you for. Right now is a great time because dealers have been slow and they are willing to move inventory.

well thats how much my friend got it for so you can try riverside. all he did was negotiate the price and left $500 deposite over the phone because he couldn't go till saturday(it was on tuesday).

Riverside is quite a drive but well worth it. Y'know, ask for Mark, a sales guy, tell him Alex sent you. See what happens. Mark was hella cool when I bought my 04 sedan. (2004 white, graphite, 6mt w/ sport susp.). As WhiteG35C mentioned, I got it barely over invoice.
