I was also posting this thread up to see if I could get you guys to post some comments on what you thought of the show, what you liked, what you didn't like, what we could do different next year.
Please keep in mind as this was our first show we didn't know what to expect so we planned the best we could and worked with what we had.
Again thanks to everyone that came out to support and special thanks to my crew here at RIVERSIDE-INFINITI for coming in on there days off to help pull this together and the late nights worked to help make the event what it was

I'll be the first to post a comment on what I thought of the show.
It was great event, huge turnout, over 200+ cars that came in and out as the day went on. What made it hard was the limited trophies we had, so that made the judging a bit harder and more intense to pull out the best of winners.
So many clean cars that attended and I would like to open classes to stock/mild/wild and open the categories to G35 Coupe, G37 Coupe, G35 first gen sedan, G35/G37 2nd Gen Sedan, 350Z, 370Z and possibly 300Z since we did have a few clean ones that came out.
The Judging was based upon well rounded cars and that included: paint, interior, audio, engine, body work, wheels, brakes and as well as how everything was pulled together. All those things had to be touched upon in order to score the points.
We had a few G35 coupe winners, 2 first gen sedan winners, a 350Z and 370Z. There were a few G37 coupes that really got my attention, but the aftermarket support isn't as big as it is for the G35 coupes. That's why I would love to open it up with the street/mild/wild catergories or even just the street/mild and then the elite cars could compete in the best of categories. Just trying to think of ways to make it fair and fun for everyone. Probably add a few more best of categories as well.

Thanks again Rick! Show was awesome had a great time. Looking forward to next year, will be even bigger I'm sure!
Like we discussed after the show, having more categories or "places" within each category would be something to improve upon for next year. This could be flexible based upon what cars actually show up, Coupe vs Z vs Sedan. There were deserving cars that didn't get an award, and while this is usually the case at a show, it would be nice to recognize a few more cars next time.

More Car related prizes for the raffle.
I thought more of the sponsors were going to throw some parts in there.
Thanks again Rick! One of the best Meets so far this year.
I look forward to next year!

Overall I thought it was a great show. You can tell the difference between a well organized show and a not so well organized show. The deals were great. Cheaper than what the online vendors would have sold it for. I was also very thankful for the free water as it was pretty warm that day.
I would have liked to see more actual Z and G related raffles such as battery covers, camber kits, service, etc instead of a hair dryer LOL!
I have more comments but for now, I wish there were more

Excellent show, very well organized, the hard work Rick and the Riverside Infiniti crew poured in really paid off. The programs were on schedule, and the host did a good job to keep the atmosphere alive and make sure everyone's involved. I wasn't in for trophies but as mentioned above, more categories/places will definitely get more deserving cars awarded.
Good work!!
Good work!!
AWESOME show!!! really like the street/mild/wild & 1st/2nd/3rd category ideas, more chance of me winning something, LOL. a dyno for next yr would be sick too. more seating would be nice too. maybe more stuff for kids, like a jumper, face paint, balloon animals or an RC race car area.

Riverside Infiniti Meet feedback
Once again thanks to Riverside Infiniti, the vendors and all of the staff hard work for putting together such a great event, being it is a first time, I would also like to give some feedback to make it a even greater outcome for next year.
Possitive:
1. Free Water/ NOS energy Drink and hotdog
2. Discounted parts and a place for us to kick back and see other cars/ gets together with friends that we havent seen for awhile.
Areas for Improvements:
1. More staff to assit with parts sales, answering questions so that we don't have a line out to the door to pay.
2. Have a desinated time to call for the raffle all at once (30 minutes prior to end of the show) instead of every 15 minutes. It took too long and no one was paying attention.
3. I understand about the group parking but that doesn't meant that solo can not park at the space that they want. It should be first come first serve.
4. Maybe assign a number to every car that show up and put that number in the raffle versus the ticket, if not, their last 6 digits of their VIN numbers will be their numbers. I lost my tickets and other time, I was in the show room floor paying for my parts, which mean, I missed out on winning some cool prize.
5. Just to enhance the day and make it more interesting, Riverside Infiniti should have cute chicks walk around selling raffle to win aftermarket parts. This way, you will make back the money for those hundreds of bottle of water and get people involve instead of them leaving couple hours early which make the parking lot look empty after 2 hours into the show.
Sorry for the long feed back but hopes you guys can take this into good use...
