405 fwy scheduled shutdown

I couldn't find another thread about this so I thought I'd give my fellow SoCal G drivers a heads up just in case you didn't know.

The 405 will be closed on July 16 & 17 from the 10 to the 101.
This article mentions it might be closed as early as friday evening too.

Experts are warning not to even bother going out that weekend cause all the other freeways and surrounding streets will be affected.
It's gonna get ugly on those LA streets.

Had to be a weekend too smh....feel sorry for the people that'll be working that rely on that freeway... maybe they can use this as an excuse to not show up to work...haha

Mayor Villaragosa said to Los Angelenos to "go on vacation" if you travel on that freeway as part of your commute during that construction period. Yeah, I'd seriously think about doing that if I had to use that freeway during those days. F that!

LOL.
That weekend on the freeways is going to be like that scene from LA Story
with Steve Martin when they realize it's shooting season on the freeways
and rush to load their guns.
