Whats up Socal peeps,
I'm going to be starting my vortech build beginning in 2014 but need to have some pre-lim stuff done beforehand. I'm looking for a reputable paint shop to paint my poly kuruma Z and a shop to weld in my wideband bung/install my A/F, oil pressure and oil temp gauges.
I know there are a bunch of shops up in LA and Shawn Church recommended project import in anaheim but thats so farrrr lol
Thanks!!

I went to project import and got my TT build done there. Took 6 months for completion and charged me an arm and a leg. Overall they did a fair job but I'm hesitant to recommend anyone to that shop.

OP I'd lurk around in the SDG'z subforum and see if you can PM any of the old-timers there bout their SD shop preferences. Off the top of my head there's SDGenius and Herrschaft that are/were from that area...but IIRC there were more north of SD proper.

Only shop I've been to was GTM and my overall experience wasn't bad, but there are different reviews with others that went there. SFR in San Diego might be worth checking out. Anywhere you go will charge high when dealing with FI.
Ill be doing all my FI install stuff by myself have everthing installed already but my 600CC injectors and the V3 kit. I just don't have the tools to do the welding and I hate wiring so I don't want to install the gauges myself lol
Ive sent emails to all the shops within an hour drive from me to see how busy they are

Gonna bump this up, Corner 3 garage will be doing my gauge installs but I'm still looking for a good paint shop that isn't over an hour away (SD and Irvine would be the boundaries) any input would be greatly appreciated
