What is this "sign off"? Here, we just call the Judge and either pay the fine or take Offencive driving.

BTW, I hope the local Cops don't see that list of jobs and what they pay, they will kill every one of the city councilmen!

That sucks bashar. So many cops are a**holes. Just tonite some cop was picking on my car for being parked in a green zone when there were at least 5 other cars parked there. He threatened me with a ticket but said no word about the other cars. It was right in front of boba city and coffee bean too. Oh man...that pissed me off.

I know Law Enforcement agencies just try to do their jobs like everyone else. But CHP are quite the ****'s, I got a speeding ticket the day before my Birthday....as much as I pleaded with him, wouldn't have none of it. I know the LAPD has a bad rep, but from my experience with them, they are pretty cool and level headed guys. However, I live in the valley and I'm not black...might have something to do with it? Maybe?

I dont know if this is directed at my post, but if it is, I dont think being black has anything to do with it even though im not black. Maybe its cuz it was thursday night and cops are on the look out for fixed up looking cars. Damn porter ranch car meets I thought they were over with already. Either way, that cop was still an a$s.

I got pulled over in Porter Ranch/Northridge a few years back by CHP exiting Balboa off of the 118. Asked me why he pulled me over, I told him speeding. Asked me how fast and I was honest and said 80. He came back and gave me a warning, all very nice and polite. Anyone think race has anything to do with it? I am white. I always here that from some black friends, but I have never expericened it. CHP was one white guy, and one black guy. I think they respected my honesty quite frankly...

"sign off" is for fix-it tickets... for vehicle conditions like tint, license plate, etc. It's not an actual traffic violation. In CA if you get a "fix it" ticket, you fix it - get it signed off by law enforcement and you're done.

BTW - here we can’t "call the judge" (unless we know one)... if it's an actual chargeable offense we have to waste 1/2 a day or more going to court to talk to a judge. Must be nice to do it by phone
