Let Tookie Live.........

Stanley "TOOKIE" Williams is scheduled to be Executed Sunday. As the Former Founder of the Crips. He has Completely Renounced All Gang Violence, He was even a Nobel Peace Prize nominee. I Say Let Him live out his days in Prison. Even though I Have More Friends that were Blood members. I stand and Support Tookie, Not for His Former Crimes but for the complete Change made in his life.

After watching the film about him...I too think he should be spared execution. We all do bad things...some alot worse than others, granted...but if God can forgive us, why can't man?

I'm not gonna praise Tookie or anything...afterall, he did what he did (which is ALOT of bad)...but, he has truly turned his life around in prison. And for that, he should at least be allowed to live it out.

Did he kill anyone? If so how many? If it was a member of your family or someone very dear to you would you still feel the same? How many lives did he change when he was doing all these gang violence crime spree? Does it matter if he dies now will it change anyone's lives? I for one don't really care if lives more power to him. If he dies may God have mercy on his soul.

It sucks to say this, but I agree. The guy is going to be executed... of course hed do everything in his power to avoid that. Going from the founder of Crips, to your regular average Joe "model citizen" is good to hear. But it was forced, and hardely enough to attone for his crimes. Now I dont really agree with the death penalty, but I still dont have any sympathy for him... even with his forced changes.

if he fully reversed what he did, AND MORE, then yes let him live... but that would be impossible... he deserved to die a LONG time ago

Hey I HATE CRABS! But if he didn't start it Someone else would have. Tookie at the Time started to Counter and protect himself from the other Gangs around him. Everywhere you go in the world There is Some Bullying Thuggish Organization. And Another Rival to Counter. So just because we Have BLOODS & Crips Here It's Just a Fact of Life. Deal with it. I've Done that for the past 39 Years Here In South Central. So DON'T even go there... I've Been Shot at, Had fools try to Shank me, Try to Carjack me. Seen Drivebys by the Dozens..... Had Friends Killed & Sent Upstate. Besides The Latino Gangs Have More People and are Much more Crazy....... 18 Street, Marasalvatrucha, Crazy Riders Just to name a few......

No One Forces You to Do Anything in Prison. Instead of People being Changed for the Good in prison To Most inmates prison is CRIME UNIVERSITY They learn more Creative and deavious ways to Commit crimes. So the Complete turn around of Tookie is Quite Remarkable........Just My 2cents....
As a So Called modern society we still Have the Barbaric trait of the death Penalty. I don't think that were any better than any Islamic Country or China for that Matter. How many times are There False witnesses or Informants and an Innocent person is Falsely accused & executed? I say Let He Who Is without Sin Cast The First Stone....... Only God Can Judge....

When I'm playing GTA San Andreas there always other gangs try to come up on my turf...then I gotta go bust a cap and take their turf.

And then after I kill them, another gang comes, etc. etc.

So yea, gangs and gang mentality is greater than one person. There's that one 2pac song with Biggie...the one from the movie...in the beginning 2pac is like "Yea, my CO told me CIA, FBI, LAPD, etc those are the real gangs" He said something along those lines..and he's right.. When people share a common interesting in doing something they will get together and form a gang...I mean loosely speaking, aren't countries gangs?
