SFR Dyno day in San Diego, Dec 10th

this is the copy of a post from Tim Richard on MY350Z

We have secured Saturday Dec 10th at the dyno shop across the street from us for a 350Z/G35 dyno day.It is $50 for two runs on a Dynojet. It will be $40 if you pay in cash.We need 15 people to attend.I think we have about 5-10 guys right now.We want to create a list of attendees so please sign-up.There will be info on our website too.We will have some food and drinks, door prizes,etc.....It should be a fun day.We are hoping a few guys with Greddy,APS,etc....turbo kits show up so we can get some real world comparisons on the same dyno!

I forgot, SFR will pay the fees for the highest horsepower car of the day.

If you need info on where the dyno is located you can go to their website:

TinMan, We could do without the sarcasm, don't you think??!

OK, lets say I do find the time TO show up, run some cars and whatever else. That won't be the end of it!! .....I have learned that the hard way on these type of message boards. I have showed up (publicly) with 5+ TT'ed cars when most "message board people "called me a LIAR" and said we have only done two (and got no apologies, at all). People will still find something else to pick apart.....its the nature of some people on these message boards. There is nothing I, or VRT have to do to prove anything to anyone. Weather I can find the time to show up at some dyno meet or not, there will always be someone saying something else......IT WILL ALWAYS BE SOMETHING!! None the less, I WILL TRY to attend this dyno day with a couple cars. (for what, I don't know)

what "sarcasm" are you talking about ???
let me make it straight.since day 1 when you guys show up and said you have 5+ supercars that made 500+hp,i always wanted to see those cars in person.or atleast a dyno sheet that showing the numbers.trust me on this,i am speaking for a lot of guys over here.we all like to see.
i know the JWT kit is for real because i was in the Sport Z magazine's turbo shoot out.a Z with JWT kit was there.
i know it's a good kit because i've seen it dyno and posted impressive numbers with my own eyes.
i know you guys run JWT kits,i've called Jim Wolf myself.
the only things that i don't know (or most of us for that matter) is your actually dyno or timeslip.like i say before.people here on forums ARE going by HP and 1/4 run.i know it's not your thing but why can't you do it? is that something that you can not do? what do you have to lose? what are you affaird of?
you might miss them all but i recall seeing many many requests about "prove it".i think they're also your potential customers.you guy open for business right? you want to build customers right? so why you said you don't have to prove anything? THIS IS WHAT THEY ARE ASKING FOR.
so far i can see that you don't want to do it and keep asking us to go motorcrossing which none of us want to go.like Micheal said it's a waste of time and energy.i feel the same way too and that's why i let it goes. but now Tim having this dynoday down that way, which it a perfect chance to meet with you guys and your cars, find out what it's all about.that is why i want to go and also want you guys to go.this is a meet,i check out your car,you check out my car,we are not going to kill eachother here.
i can just say fVck it and forget about everything but the fact that one of you guys saying will spank my a$$ and later on another guy calling me out to dyno and whatever so that make me want to meet up even more.
tell you what, make it and i'll buy you lunch and after if we have time i'll swing by your shop.deal?
Steve

The sign up list looked like all (or most) turbos... They should have two categories for the "paid dyno for highest pull" - FI and NA

I'd be in for NA!!

Might show up just to finally see you dyno! It should be WELL broken in since the last dyno day I saw you at.

Have you dynod yet?
