I'll try my bestest to come spectating and take some purty pictures. I'll also try to bring my 13" TV and PS2 so I can pretend to be cool. I assume there is a power source in the pit area right?
Watching that Top Gear video is quite an enlightening experience.

Wheeewwwwwhh ... just returned from an amazing snowboarding trip at Lake Tahoe (since Thursday) this afternoon!
The buddies all thought I was nutz for requesting to be dropped off at Street Image (to check up on the 'G Kreuzer'), instead of first going home for some much needed rest. Sleep? No way Jose! My priority was to check up on my baby and see how the surgery went with the addition of the ATS carbon Limited Slip Differential. I was greeted by Dru (Meechin), Alex (ohsobad), and Tom (WhiteG35C) upon arriving. Good to see yall!!! No thanks to Dru for giving me an unecessary heart-attack in fabricating an elaborated joke on how the job on the car was not successful and the race this Friday may be in jeopardy!
You are sick buddy!!!
Glenn,
Yes the weather is looking good! Quite honestly, I never had any doubt. Laguna Seca has been kind to us over the years, albeit always teasing us with 'slight chance for shower' forecasts. This year looks to be no different. *knock on wood*
Ed (Eagle1),
That is a darn shame that the new and improved beast won't be ready in time for a Laguna Seca debut! I'm glad you'll still be joining us and promise to take some incredible external video footages!
Steven,
Glad you'll likely be there. We can definitely use more historian for pics and videos to share and reflect upon.
There won't be any AC power outlet in the un-official pit area (really the parking lot). You may have to look for alternative sources for power.
Ray,
PSP is brilliant!

Ok and the pre track day jidders have started. I dont know what to do with myself. Just keep going over and over in my head the list of things to be checked on the car before Thursday AM.
Just a thought......
The last time I was out on the track driving 'leisurely,' I started to feel lightheaded after 20 minutes on the track. I know it's been posted that racers should all eat nothing but banana all day, but I think there is a better alternative. Take some motion sickness medicine before the race and you don't have to worry about getting barf all over your face in the helmet.

I've already got my stockies on the car.
Inspected by Mr. ATS LSD and we're thumbs up on the tread.
Brakes have ample pad life remaining.
Tomorrow night i'll be emptying the car out.
Golf bag, golf shoes, miscellaneous crap will be taken out of the trunk.
All compartments and storage areas will be emptied out of coins, tools, whatnot.
BANANAS will be stuffed in easy to reach places for emergency replenishing of vital nutrients and calories in between turns.
(Time for some one-handed power-sliding + banana chompin action! YEAYUH!!!! j/k)
I finally got my coilover back from HKS and it was installed yesterday.
A few (haha) months back i hit a huge pothole and it did some major damage to the coilover. It began leaking fluid so i had it sent back under warranty.
I was afraid i was gonna run LAGUNA SECA with a half-*** suspension.
(Stock Shocks + TEIN S-Techs up front, HKS LS+ coilovers in the rears)
But now... we're back at 100% on the suspension.
Now the only thing that remains is the tranny.
We'll have that taken care of AFTER the event.
It's the final stretch boys.
Showtime very soon.
Thursday morning can't come soon enuff.
We're gonna embark on a memorable weekend to say the least.
YEAYUH!!!
