Hey to everyone thats PMd me im soo sorry for the delay but I finally got intouch with him today. Ok so heres the breakdown. He is Mexican and his English isnt the best but man he does really good work. Hes experienced and knows what hes doing. When you contact him, be sure to mention my name or he will be clueless if u mention the board or anything b/c I told him im sending everyone and he knows me.

Ok so his name is Ricardo. Hes the head painter at a body shop in Santa Ana called "Orange County Collision" Like I said before, BE SURE TO MENTION MY NAME(Kamal) WHEN YOU CALL OR HE WILL THINK YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER!!!

i've seen Kamal's car's.
The paint match is flawless.
Grade A job.

I'd definitely go get my stuff shot thru Ricardo when the time comes.

Kamal,

What color is your car? I ask because some colors are harder to match than others.

thank you Dru for those kind words and Arash for answering the question for me. I didnt only put him up because the work he does but b/c he is cheap. He painted my grilll for $40 using factory paint. He did my complete body kit ( Nismo front, Ings sides and rear) for $550. The cost for the kit was b/c he said he had to put in extra work but it def came out nice. Your right about the color matching being difficult for different cars but like I said b4, he uses factory paint. He is the head painter for that body shop. How does he do it cheap? Im friends with one of the estimate writers there and he allows me to ask Ricardo to do my paint work as a side job. Soo yea thats the breakdown. Use him if you want, if not no biggie. This post was more for the 8-10 people who pmd me asking me info on my paint guy...

is diamond graphite one of the harder colors to paint match?

no, ivory pearl is the hardest...

Any car with Metalic or Pearl is a real pain in the a$$ to match paint. Not only the color but the painter needs to figure out which way the pattern was shot.

I always thought black was, because it reflects so much light and shows all the orange peel, etc....

i have my grill painted Lexus black and you cant even tell its different than the entire car...

even the stock bumper and body dont match on a brand new IP G35...
