Thumbs up Installed: Invidia Q300 Exhaust

Here you go guys. I know everyone has been waiting for this moment. lol

I am very impressed by how this exhaust is made and designed. The welds top notch quality, beautiful burnt tips (that are adjustable), and fully polished chrome piping and canisters. It is also much lighter than the stock exhaust, which i was surprised how heavy it really was.

Starting the car, i was a skeptical about it sounding nice. It did start off a bit raspy but after 1 hour of driving. My friends, who dont like rasp very much, were surprised by how nice it sounded. It has almost no rasp, a very nice growl at start up, and sounds amazing. It has no drone after 3,000rpm. It sounds totally stock while cruising. So for people who dont like drone, this is a great exhaust.
I am not joking when i say this exhaust has like no rasp. Its just music to ears when you hear this exhaust.
I also do feel some nice gains towards low end. My friend, 2c, drove my car and was shocked by how responsive and torquey the car is.

The canisters do not stick out as much as everyone thinks. It's very nicely tucked underneath, just like the FI exhaust.

I give this exhaust a 10 . It is absolutely the best exhaust out for the G35 & G37 sedans.

Thanks Lou and Paul at Amplified for this great exhaust. Jet and Cat, thanks for installing it for me. And of course 2c, thanks for pushing me until you pissed me off to buy this exhaust hahahahaha

So, the only clamps (that I can see) on the entire system are at the the tips for adjustment, right?
Everything else is socket/flanged?

Did you do any vids Rob?

Looks good, but I'd have to paint the cans (just my preference).

Ya only on the tips. The rest are flanged. And yes they can be adjusted outward and inward. I put them all the way inward.

Cool. That means I can change the tip if I get this system

I'm going to sleep now, hopefully Lou will post the vid tomorrow.

I will update you guys on the vids, but not tonight

Lou, at Amplified, took the vid and he will be posting it. But the vid is of the first start up, not when it got broken in. So its not the best sound clip.
I will take another sound clip soon when its fully broken in but it sounds amazing right now. I already drove 80 miles with this exhaust on, but i still smell the new exhaust smell lmao

is there seriously no drone between like 50-75mph cruising on the highway??? i swear i don't believe it lol, i believe that once you hit 80mph it doesn't drone, but c'mon if it doesn't drone at least a little more than stock then this truly is the best exhaust so far... but i'll reserve judgement for now..

Well there obviously must be some slight drone like any aftermarket exhaust, but I'm guessing it's minimal similar to the FI.

Drone is all the way up till 2,800rpm, after that, it is as quiet as stock.
Hitting 80 is just as quiet due to higher rpms.
I was actually trying to keep it droning but i couldnt keep it steady lmao
It just kept going quiet hahahaha

It's even quieter on the highway.

Not to dis FI but drone and rasp is no where as near as FI.
Any of my OCG teammates can vouch that it is quiet in the cabin.
I am not exaggerating one bit when i say no drone after 2,800rpm.
