It was actually just an re-aiming problem, which the dealer fixed in 30 minutes lol. Guess I don't have any recalls with mine...

My '06 coupe also has this recall on the headlights but I am not going to get them replaced by the dealer until right before my warranty ends in 2010. I do not have any issues with my lights and that way I can get brand new headlights when my car is 4 years old!

^^^Nope. You, most likely, have recalled headlights that someone spirited out of an Infiniti dealership. Not that that's a bad thing. If your headlights are properly aimed, you should have no problems, and a much better and brighter headlight pattern than the stock '03 reflectors. I had an '03 myself with '06 recalled headlights that I adjusted properly and I luved 'em.

I wonder if my 2006 projector lights can be replaced by the recall. They are foggy and spidering inside and out. The housings painted black and my car is actually a 2005, not 2006. Do you think they can still replace my lights?

I know this is a old thread but I was wondering if they are suppose to replace the headlights or just re-aim them? I have this recall on my 06 right now and the headlights are starting to haze up. Before I go buy the kit to fix the haze problem I wanted to make sure if they are suppose to replace them or not. Thanks.

Anybody with Painted housings had theirs replaced anyways? Did Infiniti give you a hard time or was it just a swap.

Hey guys i have an 04 coupe and my drivers side headlight it really foggy and I've tried restoring it with everything recommended on this forum. I've noticed that its happened to other 04 coupes and I think its oxidized on the inside and I was wondering if it was a defect of that year? Wont bother me for to much longer I sadly got in an accident and need a new one but i was just wondering.

So came in the dealership today to get the recall for my Airbag fix(my light turned on yesterday - 06 g35 coupe), and found out that there was a recall on my headlight that i didn't know about. Luckily they had parts in stock and got a pair of brand new headlights! And the cool thing was one of my headlight wasn't even OEM.
I receive part the following part# as a replacement:
RH-26010-CM40C
LH-26060-CM40C

for new clear headlights!
