if you have to bang on the door panel to get it to move 9 times out of 10 it is the motor going bad and it is seizing up and the jolt get sit to move. Get a new motor.

yeah my window lastnight (04 G35 Coupe) went down on the passenger side....got home to roll it up and nothing...waited for alittle while since it had done this before and it worked fine the lasttime....still didnt get anything after an hour..waited until this morning and still nothing..I am thinking that my motor has ate it...what sucks is that Infiniti is closed today since it is Sunday...any ideas how I can get the window back up? or will I have to wait until Monday to get it fixed? I dont think any normal autoparts store sells our window motors correct?

For the sunroof problem you might have to reset the motor.
Try this: Open the sunroof completely ( you may have to press the switch multiple times until it's completely open ). Then press and hold the switch when it hits the fully opened position ( about 3-5 sec ) now close the sunroof the same way and hold closed for about 3-5 sec. retest the sunroof operation after doing that, it should work ok...
