New TSB for incomplete fillup?

I had the problem about 6 mos ago where the G wouldn't take a full tank of gas. Only put in about 5 gals or and stop. On my 3rd visit back, got a tech that had heard on the problem with his daughter's G and said he needed to replace the spring. Did that and everything was fine for a while.

Happened again. Took it in today and currently they have the back torn out of it. Said there is a new bulletin (since i last brought it in) that calls for adding/replacing (unsure) a brass bracket back there to fix it. Has anyone heard of this one? 06 coupe

Join the crowd. My car is out of warranty by a few months, so I am out of luck.

TSB Recalls should be in effect whether you are in or out of warranty... i was always under the impression that the TSB called for the fuel hose to be replaced, IIRC.

I have the same problem... sometimes I can fill without problem, sometimes I can't even get more than a few liters in before the pump cuts off, as if the tank's near-full.

Brother, I called the dealership and they said pound sand, so I called Corporate headquarters and they told me the same thing, if its out of warranty they do not have to do the TSB....as some have said, they CAN do it, however mine wouldn't.

Would be nice if they would have a TSB for the 07-08's!

Same issue with our 04' 350Z and my 04' coupe. I'm sad to read it's still a problem even with 06s.

And here i thought I was the only one with that problem. I'm always being asked by the gas station attendant if everythings okay or asking whether the pump I'm using is acting up because I'm feathering the pump handle the second I start filling. Its actually pretty embarrassing.

Boost, if you have your warranty then yes, however as we have been saying some of the more professional dealerships have been doing the TSB's even if you're out of warranty.

I didnt know that. I just had that assumption since Honda did a recall for me when i was out of warranty.

I thought recalls were mandatory fixes regardless of warranty because they are a safety issue, TSB's are only under warranty and not necessarily safety related.
