would technosquare be worth it?

since there arent any good local tuners around me, ive been considering sending my ecu to technosquare...i dont have any dynos of my car but i hope they can still help...as far as my mods go: jwt popcharger/ztube, motordyne 5/16 spacer, nismo headers, and im going to be adding some hfc. will the reflash really help out?...or is the hp increase not gonna justify the $500? any help would really be appreciated..thanks!

It will definitely help!!! You have to tell TS what exactly you have done to your car. Have all the mods done first, or at least tell them you have things installed you may not yet, so you don't have to reflash.

You can expect a good 12-15HP from the reflash. If you were local, and I know your not, they can give you more.

You will get enhanced fuel and timing maps, higher rev limit, and other benefits that that you'll want anyways...

The more mods the more important it is especially for improved exhaust. Adjusting A/F ratio is the most important part of it. The other features all help.
Most shops seem to favor piggy back ECU or separate mgt. box over reflashes. But many owners seem to have good success with TS even on mailing in ECUs.
If TS has a large database of different mods for the G35 they can probably nail it very close. Nothing is as good as a dyno-tune on your specific vehicle of course.

well fi u were local u could take ur car to them and they throw it on a dyno for u and tune it that way... i think doing it like that tho is more expensive i think the guy i talked with there said it was $650 and change... but its very important if ur modded... it is something im going to do at the beginning on next year... i'll post some dyno charts of before and after runs for u guys

If you are concerned about your warranty I wouldn't do it. Sometime during the first quarter of this year Cobb Tuning is releasing soemthing called the AccessPort. It will download a map to your ecu that you can download free from their website. You can donwload everything form max performance to max fuel economy to you ecu within minutes. They will also offer programs for your computer to tune yourself or you can go to a tuner shop and they can tune it for you. It plugs into the OBDII port under the dash. The most important thing is you can put your stock program on it so if you need service you can put the factory program back in with no sign of the ecu being programmed. The basic unit without tuning software is supposed to be under $600. Here is a thread I started with a link to their web forum. If you do techno square and add more parts you need another reflash. With this you can change it yourself with maps you can download free off of the internet (after you purchase the AccessPort).

I have posted several things about their product because I have heard of the success they have had with Subaru's. I do not work for Cobb Tuning nor do I know anyone who works for them. It just looks like a reasonably priced alternative to what is currently available for our cars. I am looking into it for myself, but cannot say for sure I will even buy it until I know for sure what it will do. Here is a link to a thread I started.

Depending on your mods, it may really run lousy with the stock program back in.
I am not sure it is necessary to put it back stock unless there is a good reason for the dealer to even be scanning your ECU for codes to start with. Unless that's what you are implying. In that case you may have more to worry about than just the ECU status.
