If you want upwards of 300hp at the wheels you need to build the motor, easiest route is to stroke it for larger displacement like a 4.1, or high compression pistons improved valvetrain ported head etc. All this would cost more to do than your turbo setup. It makes for one badass setup though, then to build a turbo on top of that.... game over.

I'm not saying you didn't, but better research before throwing your wallet at the vendors would have provided you with the same insight you have now after spending all that money. As an example, you quoted the HKS trual dual to be $2k, which i'm sure you can get it for much much cheaper (unless the prices just sky-rocketed) or there are other alternative for closer to a grand that serve the same function.

Best advice I've seen on this forum hahahaha

Really, the G is a bit heavy for getting into tracking. An S2K will run circles around it and you're not going to make much NA in either car, so it might be a better option.

Search O.P SEARCH!!!!

Here's a quick example of my own car...

baseline put down around 225 whp or so

Phase 1-2 pwr mods included:

1. Fast Intentions Intimidator exhaust
2. Berk HFCs
3. zTube
4. K&N Air Filter
5. Stillen Grounding kit
6. MD 5/16" ISO Spacer

Add those up + the fact I have a 5AT car and on a Mustang Dyno I put down 248 whp. Keep in mind the Mustand Dyno reads much lower than other dynos for good reason.

If I went to another dyno I could probably have read 265whp or so.

Now the only other worthwhile NA mods for me to do at this point would be

1. Osirus ECU reflash which would probablty net me another 20 whp on the Mustang Dyno

2. Adding shorter gears + VLSD
3. Adding a Transgo shift kit (definite MUST if you're 5AT)

The last 2 mods wouldn't really add much as far a wheel horse power but would help with putting the power to the ground which ultimately what counts.

SEARCH bro search!!!! You'll be amazed at what you find. I LOVE my car and know how to drive it well which leads me to my last point....

The Driver mod....its the most important mod you can ever do bc what good are the other mods when the driver isn't improving his skill level as well??!!!

What helped me the most is installing 3.91 final drive and a light weight flywheel (ACT 13lbs). Those items are not horsepower adders however they really help in making the car accelerate much faster.

Speaking of which. I just rode in a friends S2K that has a methonol injection supercharger. It get's 451hp to the wheels. It's stupid fast, almost not fun unless you're the one driving. It's like a shifter kart on steroids. Spins the wheels in nearly every gear.

civic mods wont do much on these cars other than make them sound more exciting. kinetix manifold, from what ive read, might actually cost you horsepower on an na car. try a set of of cosworth zk2 cams.

there are a number of g's/z's out there that are over 300 whp, you can find them if you search. might be able to break 300 for ~$7k plus labor and tuning. adam at z1auto is a good place to start on the my350 forum
