Options for ipod nano hook-up

Hey everyone, i was just wondering what are the best options I have with hooking up my ipod nano to my 07 g. There is no direct ipod conection so my 1 option would be threw the cigarette lighter or the outlet in the arm rest. Also, there are the red, yellow, and white outlets, could i hook it up threw there with this cable....

If so would i have to Bypass the parking break.

(not trying to post about bypassing the break just wondering if thats what i would have to do)

That cable will work, and you won't have to bypass the parking break to use it. The only thing that is disabled while the car is in motion is the video input.

There is however a direct wire solution. It's a bit costly compared to the cable you are looking at, and not as integrated as the 08 interface, but still an option. I'll try to find a link and post it in a sec.

Edit: Here are the links

So still no ipod integration for Nav owners? I would definitely give up satellite radio for it but looks like the EverythingG35 does not work with Nav.

It actually does work with Nav. Do a search on it and you will find lots of people using it. What the site is referring to is that you will lose the XM Nav traffic part while it is connected, since the interface overrides the sat signal. However this is also not true. Confused yet? The Nav traffic info comes in on a separate channel from the radio signal, so it does not get overridden. When I swapped out my Sirius tuner I used the exact same harness (although in nav equipped 08 models it's connected to the CD changer in the trunk) to connect to the Sirius tuner. I was able to receive Sirius and still have the XM Nav traffic working.
