Anyone tried this??? (sprint bluetooth device)

Has anyone tried using this devide with their 2008 G35 ipod integration system? I'm going to get one and I REALLY REALLY hope it works with my iphone4. Our cars don't charge the new iphones (iphone4) anyway so i don't really care about the fact that the battery will run out even faster.

So if anyone has used it... any thoughts???

Very interesting. If the phone can pair to this for Audio/Audio Controls, pair to the stereo for phone calls, and plug into the A/V/Charging cable with the lighter and RCA inputs in the console then pretty much everything would work. Big if though.

BTW, There are adapters to let the iPhone 4 charge on the 2008 model iPhone interface. (There is a discussion in the V37 section under Audio Video.)

good news bad news... but mostly good

arryte guys so I got the Sprint bluetooth adapter thing today and tested it out.... and IT WORKS!!! for the most part. You can pair your bluetooth phone to the car to receive calls... and at the same time you can pair it to the sprint bluetooth device to play music. When a call comes in, it automatically pauses the music and you can take the call. When you hang up, the music automatically plays. I also played a youtube video and the sound from that also plays through the car speakers.

Here's a bit of bad news... you can't change songs from the steering wheel or the center console. You have to change songs from the iphone itself.

Photo 1. shows the iphone connected to both the sprint device and the car.
photo 2. shows the sprint device
photo 3. You can see that the phone is connected to the cars handsfree system... and u can't tell but the music is playing from the iphone.

Good Investment... $20 on ebay. Also, I do have the cigarette lighter charger. So that'll keep the phone charged. I don't like to have the phone tucked away in the armrest.

How is the bluetooth connection with the adapter tucked into the center console thing?

because thats where you plug in the ipod/iphone to interact directly with the car stereo. I have a 2008. Not sure what year you have. I don't think the 2007 had this feature. i could be wrong though.

ohhh... the quality is awesome. I'm probably just trippin but it almost sounds better through bluetooth than with the iphone plugged directly to the wire. haha. Its suppose to have a 30 foot radius connection area.
