I still don't understand the point of taking off OEM wheels to put on OEM wheels at a higher price than subjectively much better looking aftermarket wheels... but hey, it's your cake.
I wont lie, that black g looks tight.

Everyone doesnt like aftermarket wheels, some might think they are to flashy, some might think it takes away from the classiness of the vechile and then there are those who are like me who feel like aftermarket wheels ride like $#!+!
But like you said whatever floats your boat!

I think upgrading to a different style of OEM wheel gives a car the factory tuned look. This can only be done if the OEM wheel looks good (as is the case of the M45 19" sport rims and the 19" G35 coupe and G37 rims).
BMWs also have some of the best OEM wheel designs and, when I was thinking about getting a 335i or 535i, I was planning on upgrading to M6 rims.
Other great things about OEM wheels:
They have the correct bolt pattern and are hubcentric
They are super strong since they are made to OEM durability requirements
They usually have big brake kit clearance due to a more conservative design (no big lips, etc.)
They have offsets that are close to ideal (for performance and function - not necessarily looks)
And they either have the TPMS in them already, or have the mounting points compatible w/ your stock TPMS sensors.
