Front Only Drop - on X.
Has anyone else done this?
The pic are gone now
I've thought about this as well. I'd love to hear more on this, but the OP only has a handfull of posts and doesnt seem to be around anymore.

Actually he's still around...
I have since installed the matching rear springs on my Skyline - - it's a "bit" lower in the rear than I would like - but the balance is better now...
After a while with the front only springs I noticed that it was a bit out of balance on the bumps at highway speeds because it was a bit more front heavy - this also affected the braking a bit as well which seemed to make it dive slightly on heavy application...
Overall I like the balanced approach better ( front and rear set ) - I also liked the front only set up - but think I might hate it now if I went back...
What else would you like to know ?? I'll email you pics if you want but I don't post shots here any longer...
Cheers,

Dude, that helped a bunch... thanks.
I'm just searching out solutions for getting rid of some of this horrible wheel gap without going to low. I do a lot of miles and dont want to have to replace the shocks and tires every year. I also don't wanna be a snow plow every snow storm.
I love the Eibach look, but like the Impuls for the avoidance of the issues mentioned.
I just don't like the Impul price.

OH OH OH...me me me!!!!!!!!!
I did this temporarily (eibach pro on front, put stock rears back on) to troubleshoot an issue of wobble/possible AWD problems, but that's another topic.
DO NOT DO THIS TO YOUR CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!
apology for the caps, but I mean it, either drop the whole thing or don't touch it at all.
here's why...
The angle of your car is obviously going to be considerably raked forward, on an X especially.
1. This will put even more weight distribution to the front which will lower the front even more.
2. Most importantly, you will smack potholes and road imperfections with a much, much, worse force as the car's stance forces the weight of the car to drill down and into the pothole rather than skip off it as it would if the rear was lowered or level. Extremely uncomfortable and if you even remotely like your G, this will hurt you.
3. The handling is even worse than stock. I know you won't believe it, but the oversteer is ridiculous.
So that lasted a month or so, I have the eibachs back on the rear and couldn't be happier. My car issues were due to a poor alignment or so I hope.
Again, don't do the front drop only unless you live in some place on this earth that doesn't have potholes or any cracks anywhere in the road.

I'm touching snow in the middle of the road rolling stock.
Anything I do is only to get rid of some of the hideous wheel gap.
I can't slam it cause I'd never get through the winters.
Sticking with the Impul thought for now......
