" Time Attacks " style on your rims

Is there a way to DIY this yourself? Or can this only be done by a shop with paint?

hahaa... I guess by the responses I seem to have asked a really dumb question. But I dont know where.. but in a thread ive read on this forum, I read somewhere about a guy doing it himself. And its not actually paint.. its some sort of strip that you can just put on the rims.

Was wondering if anyone has seen or heard or has done this before.

unless it's a stiff circle already, it would be impossible to get a perfect circle with tape , unless you use some kind of stencil i guess....still would be rough

i say just don't do it.
What wheels do you want to do it to?

Take it to a shop if you do decide to do it.

Nothing specific just yet.. but something with a lip on it. Maybe the Vossen VVS-082. Its pretty nice on it.

Any thoughts how much a shop might charge for this?

Why waste money on getting them painted? Find a local vinyl shop and have them cut out a set of red circles for you, this would be the cheapest and easiest way to get them done.
