Why am I getting a low tire pressure warning light.?
I bought my brand new G end of August 2008 and mainly use it as a weekend car. Currently, I only have around 1300 miles. Today I decided to take it out in the freezing cold/snow weather and left it outside for a few hours. I came back, started the car, and got the low tire pressure warning light. Anyone know why? Is this due to it being out in the cold? With such low miles, this warning definitely shouldn't be happening. Thanks!

Molecules contract when its cold, expand when its warm. This would include air molecules. In the cold, tire pressure drops, when its hot, tire pressure increases.
Your low tire pressure light is on because your tires do, in fact, have low tire pressure.
Just fill it up a few psi and you're good to go. How many miles you have doesn't have anything to do with it.

Spare Tire Pressure?
The other night when it was snowing here in Houston, (YES, you read that right), my TPMS light came on. The next morning, I checked my pressures and all four tires were running ~30psi. I brought the pressures back up to 35psi all around. I've been running on them about 5 days now and the TPMS light continues stay on. So tonight when I got home I checked the spare tire pressure and it about 29 psi. Is this too low?
What is the recommended spare tire pressure?
Can the spare tire cause the TPMS warning light stay on?
