My bars came in yesterday and I went ahead and installed them this morning. Took about 2 hours total for front and rear. I set the rear on the lightest setting (end hole) but after a quick drive I think i'm going to go ahead and put it on the middle setting. I love the performance and stability in the hard corners but i'm anxious to try a stiffer setting. I'll update my review once I change settings.

I wouldn't drive it with the end link loose, as you may lose the nut too. I would just remove the end link on that side altogether... This effectively makes the bar useless, but you can just drive it without the bar. You should be fine, just take it easy around the turns. Also, the dealer most likely won't have this bolt in-stock, so you might be best to go to a hardware store to get a replacement. Just bring the bolt in with you and make sure you get a "grade 8" replacement bolt, so it is strong enough to handle the loads.

Just be careful and make sure to keep the traction conrol on at first... I say this because when I went to the middle hole and had the traction control off I got some major snap oversteer and almost spun the car into a ditch.. I quickly put the bar back in the softest setting. LOL

Thanks for the advice, yeah i'll be taking it easy for a while to get the feel for things. Regardless which setting I end up using, i'm curious to see what the middle hole will be like.

It's definitely noticeably stiffer and the car oversteers a lot more, but other than that I only had it in the middle hole for a day. LOL

Anyway, definitely let us know what you think of it.

Just got the bars installed on friday... and WOW... i can hit turns soo much harder and there is really no body role. Today i was driving around and some Mustang comes and cuts me off like crazy and we both come to a light and we are both making a left turn onto another street.. and as i role up to the light he starts revving at me and i think to my self... with these sways i should have him on the turn and it would be over.... and it happened =] lol... love the sways.. ohh and i had about 5 cars on him at 60MPH i think it was the V6 though

Further review:

I originally stated that after installing the sway bars, my car wasn't bumpier than before. I retract that statement. I drove downtown (crappy streets galore), and it was insanely bumpy. It felt like I was bouncing from side to side as my left and right tires continuously hit the little potholes, raised repair work, and manhole covers. I can only imagine driving downtown again with a stiffer setting. It's definitely a lot bouncier when the road is uneven, but there's no difference if your left and right tires go over a bump at the same time (e.g. speed bump)

Anyway, I Googled "sway bars" and many articles as well as personal reviews confirm the same.

I knew it couldn't be just me

Jeff, I'm getting a set of CO's in a week or so, but I may not be able to get them put in for another 2 weeks. I'm thinking that it'll solve most/all of the ride problems we're experiencing.
