Will the Akebono BBK's fit OEM 18s?

I hope this helps.

Template test fit on the front 18x7.5's

Template test fit on the rear 18x8.5's (If, say, someone was thinking of using rear wheels for the fronts.)

On both, you will certainly need spacers to clear the spokes. 10mm at least for the 8.5's, more for the 7.5's. *However*, notice the first photo above. The caliper head is barely touching the inner barrel. If you have wheel weights in the same area, the caliper will scrape those off.

Great write up bro

But looks like those weights will be an issue.
Any idea what can be done about that?

Mike, where did you get that template?
I assume it comes with the kit, but where can I get my hands on one?

I'd love to have that so I could sit it inside my 19's before ordering.

I'd like to say place the weights further in the rim, but i have a feeling the placement would also affect the balance. I'm not really sure.

the only thing that has an affect on that is the distance of the weights from the center of rotation. moving the weights along the rotational access won't have an affect.

Thanks for putting up that link. You gave me peace of mind that my new rims will clear the BBK
