The V36 Coilover info thread

Anything from the coupe fits our cars (same years of course), but you need to make sure you get the sprin rate you want
#122
sorry, I meant the newer G sedan. The 2nd Gen V36 vs the older sedan/coupes. Yeah it's just I see some people listing suspension from older generations and say they fit 2nd gen as well.

While the rears are very similar for 1st & 2nd gens, why would you even consider it, when the proper parts are available for each?
#126
No Im looking into coilovers, not stock. Just wondering if V35 coilovers syetems might fit our new V36 gens or not. Im guessing its a no. But some say yes and some say no.

Thanks for mentioning this... seems very attractive to me. Some questions:
1) how easy are they to install? Do I need to get a spring compressor?
2) do you have pictures of the end result that you can post?
Thanks

They are very easy to install if you are mechanically inclined. Should take 1 - 2 hours to do the fronts and less than an hour for the rears. You will need a spring compressor tool for the fronts, and a hydraulic floor jack comes in handy for doing the rears. There are tons of before and after pics in one of my threads on here.. just do a search.

FYI.. I still have the full set of Agility coilovers sitting in the original box in my garage. They are in excellent shape and I'd be willing to let them go at a fairly low cost. Let me know if your interested.
