Oops, i forgot you guys have gone wide

Ever considered a fix-a-flat? If i'm not mistaken, the FaF is at least TPMS sensor safe... and much cheaper, too.

I've heard that any puncture sealant makes patching the tire more difficult because the tech has to make sure all the residue is removed for the patch to adhere properly. Someone with experience should chime in here.

As for the mini-compressor - I used to have something similar. IMHO, they are better suited for "light" duty. Unless it is a pinhole leak I doubt it would have the volume it takes to overcome a leak from a nice size nail hole. Plus if the tire is completely down, that little thing will take forever to fill the tire to running pressure. So ... a good size leak will make you already late to wherever you are going. And when you get there, you might have to fill it all over again to get home. At this point, your day is shot so you may as well have called a tow truck using Infiniti Roadside Service.

^ I agree... I'd prefer not to have to go that route.
I was glad that I never had to use the OE unit in my BMW.

They claimed they would seal a normal puncture though. (not just a pin hole)

I'm also trying to find something aftermarket that will work,
since chances are slim to none that I'll find a G37S spare up here in the GWN.

Forgive my ignorance, but doesn't the Conti Kit work on the same premise as the FaF?

Does anyone know if there's an easy way to retrofit a BMW M3 wheel onto ours? I've seen some threads of how M3 owners are using Cadillac spares (at $99) for spares. Caddy = BMW = Infiniti (?)
